The Council is now preparing its Long Term Council Community Plan for 2009 - 2019. We expect the Draft Plan will be available for public consultation in early April 2009.
Public meetings
Public Meeting Dates on the draft LTCCP are being held at the following times:
- Helensville, Tuesday 7 April, South Kaipara Forum Meeting, (Rautawhiri Park Hall, Rautawhiri Road , commences 6.30pm)
- Warkworth, Wednesday 15 April, (Masonic Hall, Baxter Street)
- Kumeu, Thursday 16 April, (Kumeu Community Centre, Access Road)
- Wellsford, Monday 20 April, (Wellsford Community Centre, Matheson Road)
- Orewa, Tuesday 21 April, (Council Offices, Centreway Road)
- Whangaparaoa, Thursday 23 April, (Whangaparaoa Hall, Whangaparaoa Road )
All meetings start at 7pm, except the Helensville meeting which begins at 6.30pm. We encourage you to come along to these sessions to find out more about what is planned for your area over the next ten years.
Submission hearings on the draft Plan will be held in May 2009. The Council will adopt the final version of the Long Term Council Community Plan in June 2009.
