PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the Rodney District Council, for the purpose of The Mayoral Challenge - Casual Cycle Event, will close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.
Road to be closed: Hibiscus Coast Highway (State Highway 1, Orewa) from Centreway Road to West Hoe Road.
Period of closure: Sunday, 1 March 2009, 9.30am to 11.30am. During the period of closure, the event organisers will station representatives at each end of the road to explain the situation to road users and offer assistance for detour routes.
