Final Notice to close a Road in Warkworth Town Centre to Vehicular Traffic for the Kowhai Festival
PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the Rodney District Council, for the purpose of The Kowhai Festival, will close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.
Roads to be closed: Queen Street from Neville Street to Mill Lane, Wharf Street, Kapuni Street, Baxter Street and Neville Street from Warkworth Street, Limited access to Neville Street between Warkworth and Alnwick Streets.
Huge Day Out
Period of closure: Saturday, 10 October 2009 – 7.00am to 5.00pm.
During the period of closure, the event organisers will station representatives at each end of the road to explain the situation to road users and offer assistance for detour routes. Any further information can be obtained from the Rodney District Councils Events Administrator.
Date of road closure: Friday, 16 October 2009. Rain Date: Sunday 18 October 2009. Period of road closure: 6.00pm - 11.00pm .The road will be closed for the duration of the movie.
