Senior citizens living in Rodney District are being invited to share in the “Golden Days of Summer” at MOTAT.
Until 30 March 2009 the Auckland Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) is offering people aged 65 and over free entry to the facility as part of a “Golden Days of Summer Promotion.” A Super Gold Card must be presented and the offer is only available to residents living in the Auckland Region.
The offer is available on weekdays, but excludes weekends and statutory holidays.
MOTAT has a wide range of exhibitions and activities. Trams, planes, rail and library displays operate at the Museum. A Victorian village also operates on Fridays and Flying Boat Tours are provided between 10am and 11.30 on Wednesdays.
Rodney District Council supports MOTAT by contributing to funding the Museum’s operation.
Further information about the MOTAT’s services are available from the MOTAT website or by phoning 0800 668 286.
Bookings are necessary for groups of 10 or more.
MOTAT is located on Great North Road and Meola Road, in Western Springs, Auckland.
