Notification of Notice of Requirement for a Designation under Section 168 of the Resource Management Act 1991
Rodney District Council has received a Notice of Requirement for a
Designation (55133) for a ‘Substation’.
Notice of Requirement is given by Vector Limited to designate the parcel of land described as Lot 1 DP 159252 located at 11 Wyn Close, Kaukapakapa for ‘Substation’.
The proposed work involves the development and operation of a
33/11 kV electricity zone substation and the ongoing maintenance and upgrading of this substation. The substation will be fully enclosed within a building. The substation will supply electricity to the wider Kaukapakapa area.

The submission must be dated and signed by you and include the following information.
1. Your name, address and telephone number.
2. The address to which you wish Council to send any correspondence.
3. Details of the Notice of Requirement in respect of which the submission is
made, including location.
4. Whether you support or oppose the Notice of Requirement in whole or part.
5. The reason for your submission.
6. The recommendation/decision you wish Council to make.
7. Whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.

The act requires that a copy of any submission be served on the requiring authority, and a copy addressed to Chief Executive, Rodney District Council, Private Bag 500, Orewa.
