Council Meetings:
The Council will meet on Thursday, 6 November 2008.
An Extraordinary Council meeting will take place on Thursday, 27 November at the conclusion of the Strategy & Community Committee meeting, to confirm the Liquor Ban Bylaws for Parakai, Helensville and Te Arai.
Committee Meetings:
The Finance and Audit Committee will meet on Wednesday, 26 November 2008 in the Committee Room, Centreway Road, Orewa.
The Infrastructure and Environment Committee will meet on Thursday, 13 November 2008.
The Strategy and Community Committee will meet on Thursday, 27 November 2008.
The District Plan and Regulatory Committee will meet on the following Wednesdays (if required): 5, 12, 19 and 26 November 2008.
The Resource Consents Hearings Panel will meet on the following Mondays (if required): 3, 10, 17 and 24 November, and the following Fridays (if required): 7, 14, 21 and 28 November 2008.
Venues/Times: Unless otherwise specified, all Council and Committee meetings will take place in the Council Chambers, Centreway Road, Orewa, and commence at 9am.
The Liquor Licensing Sub-Committee meets each Wednesday (if required), at 8am at the Council’s Head Office, Centreway Road, Orewa.
Notice of Extraordinary Meeting
An Extraordinary meeting of the Council took place in the Council Chambers, Centreway Road, Orewa on Wednesday, 15 October 2008 at 12.35 p.m. at which the Council’s response to the Penlink State Highway Funding Offer was resolved.
The meeting could not be advertised earlier because it was critical that the Council’s response to the recent announcement regarding the funding of Penlink be signalled as soon as possible in light of the pending central government elections.
Council and Committee agendas are open to public inspection at the Council Offices, Centreway Road, Orewa, at the Service Centre at Helensville, and at the public libraries in Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Warkworth, Wellsford, Mahurangi East and Huapai.
