Note: With effect from 1 October 2008, the Council, Strategy & Community and Infrastructure & Environment Committees will meet on a six weekly cycle.
Committee Meetings:
The Strategy and Community Committee will meet on Thursday, 16 October. On Tuesday, 21 October the Committee will meet at the Riverhead Hall for the purpose of hearing submissions to the Riverhead War Memorial and Murray Jones/Riverhead Mill Reserve Management Plans. (Note: This meeting was previously deferred from 30 September 2008.) The Committee will also meet on Thursday, 23 October 2008 at 11.15 a.m. at the Muriwai Surf Club to hear submissions to the Muriwai Beach Speed Bylaw.
The Infrastructure and Environment Committee will meet on Thursday, 2 October 2008.
The Finance and Audit Committee will meet on Wednesday, 15 October 2008 in the Committee Room, Centreway Road, Orewa.
The District Plan and Regulatory Committee will meet on the following Wednesdays (if required): 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 October 2008.
The Resource Consents Hearings Panel will meet on the following Mondays (if required): 6, 13, 20 October 2008 (no meeting on Monday 27 October 2008, Labour Day) and the following Fridays (if required): 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October 2008.
Venues/Times: Unless otherwise specified, all Council and Committee meetings will take place in the Council Chambers, Centreway Road, Orewa, and commence at 9am.
The Liquor Licensing Sub-Committee meets each Wednesday (if required), at 8am at the Council’s Head Office, Centreway Road, Orewa.
Council and Committee agendas are open to public inspection at the Council Offices, Centreway Road, Orewa, at the Customer Centre at Helensville, and at the public libraries in Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Warkworth, Wellsford, Mahurangi East and Huapai.
