Notice is hereby given that subject to Paragraph 3.9 of the Auckland Regional Council Navigation Safety Bylaw a Speed Dispensation has been granted to the New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Association to exceed the speed of 5 knots within 200 metres of the shore or 50 metres of another vessel for the purpose of Powerboat Racing. This event will take place on Saturday 20 February in the coastal waters on the southern side of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula and based from Gulf Harbour Marina. In the event that the race cannot take place on 20 February it may run on Sunday 21 February.
All water uses are reminded to keep well clear of all racing activities.
