The Orewa Beach Reserve Management Plan is currently being partially reviewed to consider relocation and redevelopment of the Surf Club. A Draft Reserve Management Plan has been prepared and is now available for public submissions.
The sole focus of the partial review of the Reserve Management Plan is to provide a framework to allow the Orewa Beach Surf Club to relocate and redevelop their premises approximately 6m back from the beach.
You are invited to comment on provisions of the Draft Reserve Management Plan that relate to the Surf Club by making a submission to the Council. Copies of the plan and submission forms can be obtained from the Council office at 50 Centreway Road, Orewa and online by clicking here.
Please note that as this is a partial review, submissions relating to matters other than the Surf Club will not be accepted.
Submissions close 4pm Monday, 16 March 2009.
