Proposal to Close Brightside Road to Vehicular Traffic for The Hibiscus
Coast Soap Box Derby
PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure)Regulations 1965, notice is given that the Rodney District Council, for the purpose of The Hibiscus Coast Soap Box Derby (An Annual Trolley Event), proposes to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.
Road proposed to be closed: Brightside Road from Kauri Road to Stanmore Bay Road.
Period of proposed closure: Saturday, 27 March 2010, 06:00 to 19:00
During the proposed period of closure, the road will be closed by signage and pointsman stationed on Brightside Road from Kauri Road and ending at Stanmore Bay Road. Appropriate signage will be placed on the following side Roads. Kauri Road, Melandra Road, Bonita Road, Kathy Terrace and Monyash Road.
Any person objecting to this proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his/her objection and the grounds thereof in writing before 5pm Friday, 5 March 2010 to the Rodney District Councils Events Administrator.
