Proposal to Close Roads in Warkworth Town Centre to Vehicular
Traffic for The Kowhai Festival
PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the Rodney District Council, for the purpose of The Kowhai Festival proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.
Road proposed to be closed: Baxter Street.
Date of proposed closure: Friday, 16 October 2009 (Sunday, 18 October 2009 rain day)
Period of proposed closure: 6pm - 11 pm
The road will be closed for the duration of the movies. Appropriate signage and cones will be in place. Any person objecting to this proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his/her objection and the grounds thereof in writing before 5.00pm Tuesday 29 September 2009 to the Rodney District Councils Events Administrator.
