Kumeu Cemetery - Summary of Decisions Requested in Submissions to Proposed Variation 129 to the Rodney District Plan 2000 - Operative in part and corresponding Proposed Plan Change 112 to the Rodney Operative District Plan 1993
The purpose of this Proposed Variation/Plan Change is to ensure that the planning provisions are in place to enable the establishment and ongoing operation of a cemetery on a site recently purchased by Council on Old Railway Road, Kumeu and that this is identified on the planning maps to ensure that the public are aware of its future location.
The Proposed Variation/Plan Change was publicly notified on 3 September 2009, with the period for receipt of submissions closing on 16 October 2009.
The Council has received submissions to the above mentioned Proposed Variation/Plan Change. A summary of the decisions requested in these submissions is now available for public inspection. Any person may make a further submission, but only in support of, or in opposition to, any of the submissions made.
Further submissions to this proposed variation must be lodged at an office of the Council not later than 4.00pm on Friday 4 December 2009. (Note: As this variation was notified before 1 October 2009 the provisions of the 2009 RMA Amendment Act do not apply).

A summary of the decisions requested in submissions to this Variation is now available for public inspection on the Council website here under ‘Planning & Development’ ‘Variations to District Plan 2000’ and at the Council’s offices at 50 Centreway Road, Orewa; Baxter Street, Warkworth; State Highway 16, Huapai; and Commercial Road, Helensville; and at all public libraries in Rodney District at any time when the above places are open to the public.
