- Construction of structures in the coastal marine area (CMA) including an approximately 600 metre long seawall (rock revetment and cement stabilised beach sand), dune fencing, stormwater outfall training groynes and provision for public access to Orewa Beach via timber stairs (at eight locations) and a pedestrian access ramp (application no. 38001).
- Land disturbance earthworks activities over a 0.42ha area associated with construction of an approximately 600 metre long composite seawall and pedestrian footpath on land within a sediment control protection area (application no. 38019).
- Overall, the application to ARC is assessed as a Discretionary Activity.

- Consent to upgrade the existing walkway along a 600 metre stretch of esplanade reserve at Orewa Beach, between Marine View and Kohu Street. The improvements include a 2 metre wide pedestrian walkway, seawall, formed beach access points and associated landscaping.
- Consent is also required for 16,470m3 of earthworks (combined cut and fill), removal of three pohutukawa trees and works within the drip line of trees.
- Overall, the application to RDC is assessed as a Non-Complying Activity.
