Victor Eaves Park – Orewa
The Victor Eaves Park Reserve Management Plan is currently being reviewed. A Draft Reserve Management Plan has been prepared for the park and is now available for public submission.
The main focus of the draft Management Plan for Victor Eaves Park is to provide a framework for the development and optimisation of sport, recreation and to provide a new base for the Hibiscus Coast Community House, and other future development that will enhance the use of the park.
Wellsford Centennial Reserve
The Wellsford Centennial Reserve is currently being reviewed. A draft Reserve Management Plan has been prepared for the park and is now available for public submission.
The main focus of the draft Management Plan is to provide a framework for the development and optimisation of sport, recreation and community facilities and areas and for the protection and enhancement of ecological values. Proposals include upgrading entranceways, additional planting, pedestrian linkage and new carpark.
You are invited to comment on any aspect of these Draft Reserve Management Plans by making a submission to the Council. Copies of the plans and submission forms can be obtained from the Council office at 50 Centreway Road, Orewa and from the Council website by clicking here. Submissions close 4pm Monday, 12 January 2009.
