Pursuant to the 10th Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is given that the Rodney District Council will be closing a short section of Wainui Rd between Hibiscus Coast Highway (SH17) and Silverdale St. (in front of the Silverdale Pioneer Village) to through traffic. This is to enable major road works as part of re-constructing the Silverdale Street/Wainui Road intersection roundabout.
Access to the adjacent businesses (J.A. Russell, Kiwi T's, Express Aluminium, Motive Trading and Silverdale Play Centre) will only be available via Hibiscus Coast Highway (SH17).
Period of closure: From 6 am on Monday 21st June 2010 through to 6am Monday 5 July 2010.
