The Auckland Regional Council has received the following Resource Consent application from Rodney District Council to divert and discharge stormwater from the existing and proposed public stormwater network in the Kumeu Huapai area.
The network discharge consent application covers an area of approximately 540 hectares and includes the future urban area being provided for as part of Rodney District Plan Variation 127 (Huapai North) and the future new development area at Huapai South. The stormwater is proposed to discharge via a number of wetlands into the Kumeu River and its tributaries.

Any person may make a written submission on the application to the Auckland Regional Council no later than 4.30pm on the submission closing date. The submission must be dated, signed and include the following information:
1. Your name, postal address, telephone No. and fax No. (if applicable);
2. Details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission, including location;
3. Whether you support or oppose the application;
4. The reasons for your submission, including any conditions you may wish the Council to include if a decision is made to grant the application;
5. Whether you wish to be heard in support of your submission.
