The Rodney district, with its vast landscapes, beautiful surrounds and top quality produce, will be showcased on the first episode of New Zealand On A Plate's second series this Saturday.
New Zealand on a Plate explores one of the country's established cuisine regions each week, offering international visitors, domestic travellers and locals the opportunity to learn about and sample the cuisine of that region.
Rodney District Council Mayor, Penny Webster, will make an appearance as Chef Anne Thorp travels around the district. Anne prepares a wonderful meal featuring oysters, and stocks up on top quality produce at the local Matakana farmers' market.
New Zealand On A Plate airs Saturday on TV One at 5:25pm.
