Orewa Beach
Notice is hereby given that subject to Paragraph 3.9 of the Auckland Regional Council Navigation Safety Bylaw a speed dispensation has been granted to the Thundercat Racing Assn. of New Zealand. This dispensation allows competing vessels to exceed the speed of 5 knots within 200 metres of the shore and within 50 metres of other competing vessels. This event will take place on Saturday 8 May 2010 at Orewa Beach. Mariners and other water users are reminded to keep well clear of racing activities.
