Public Notice of Withdrawal of Variation 126 – Road Frontage Notation
At it’s meeting on 21 October 2009 the District Plan and Regulatory Committee resolved to withdraw Variation 126 – Street Frontage Notation, pursuant to Clause 8D of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991.
The Variation sought to remove the road frontage notation between Tamariki Avenue and Moenui Ave in Orewa. The road frontage notation applied to the former designation for the southward extension of Bakehouse Lane, which was removed in August 2002, making the notation unnecessary. Proposed Variation 101 relating to Orewa East also covered this issue. As that variation is now being dealt with by the Environment Court, it is appropriate to withdraw Variation 126 and allow the road frontage issue to be dealt with through the appeals to Variation 101.
