Council Meetings June 2009:
Extraordinary Council meetings will take place on:
- Thursday, 18 June at the conclusion of the Strategy and Community meeting (and on Friday, 19 June if required) for the purpose of confirming the Parking Pay and Display Bylaw; and a request for a private proposed plan change.
- Friday, 26 June to Adopt the Long Term Council Community Plan.
Committee Meetings June 2009:
The Strategy and Community Committee will meet on:
- Wednesday, 10 June for the purpose of hearing submissions to the Wellsford Town Centre Development Plan; and the Draft Shelly Beach Reserve Management Plan.
- Wednesday, 17 June to hear submissions to the Parking Pay and Display Bylaw.
- Thursday, 18 June (ordinary meeting); and 19 June (if required).
The District Plan and Regulatory Committee will meet on Wednesdays, 3 and 24 June (if required).
Independent Commissioner Hearings (Resource Consents) will take place on Monday, 15 and Tuesday, 16 June.
The Resource Consents Hearings Panel will meet on the following Mondays (if required): 8, 22 and 29 June, and the following Fridays (if required): 5, 12, 19 and 26 June.
Venues/Times:
Unless otherwise specified, all Council and Committee meetings
will take place in the Council Chambers, Centreway Road, Orewa, and commence at 9am.
The Liquor Licensing Sub-Committee meets each Wednesday (if required), at 8am at the Council’s Head Office, Centreway Road, Orewa.
Council and Committee agendas are open to public inspection at the Council Offices, Centreway Road, Orewa, at the Service Centre at Helensville, and at the public libraries in Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Warkworth, Wellsford, Mahurangi East and Huapai. Agendas can also be accessed on the Council’s website.
A reasonable number of agendas are available at the meetings and members of the public are invited to attend.
