Current Roading Projects

Roading Projects currently underway or planned in the Rodney District.

Vehicle Crossings

Vehicle crossings are the driveway area between the road and private property boundary.

Road Maintenance Updates

Council currently have two roading contractors that carry out the routine maintenance throughout the Rodney District.

Road Opening Notices

A Road Opening Notice (RON) is needed when organisations or private contractors work on or near council services within the road reserve (area between boundary and boundary). Includes work in, on, along, over, across or under the road.

No Spray Issues

The No Spray Register has been set up by Rodney District Council for residents who prefer the road berm outside their properties not to be treated with herbicides for weed control.

Park and Ride Study

Rodney District Council engaged Booz and Company to undertake a Park and Ride study into the feasibility of having a Park and Ride for the Hibiscus Coast and Western Rodney areas.
