Why do we need Planning Rodney?
Rodney's population is expected to grow by another 20,000 people over the next 10 years.  Planning Rodney aims to set the framework for how we should manage and plan for this future in a sustainable way.

Planning Rodney is one of the main ‘tools’ that the Council will use in its endeavour to deliver on Vision Rodney. It therefore provides direction and has relationships and linkages with various other strategies, plans and programmes including the Long Term Council Community Plan and District Plan.
