Council is currently preparing stage 1 of the Silverdale West Structure Plan. The structure plan aims to investigate the feasibility of the provision of land for business development, primarily group 1 business activities. Group 1 business activities are generally those activities that require a large floor plate, and include:
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Distribution
- Storage
- Transport
- Wholesale Trade
Stage 1 of the structure plan is the identification of constraints and opportunities for development in the area, and the effects that such development will have on the environment. To view the Stage 1 report click here. Please note that a copy of the technical appendices is available on request.
Stage 2 of the structure plan will be the development of design options for the structure plan area.
