The Draft Structure Plan sets out the development strategy for Kaukapakapa, and provides for an appropriate level of future growth, both in the villages and the surrounding countryside.
The Plan identifies improvements to streets, public spaces and walking routes within Wellsford that could be made. It suggests landscape improvements to they key approaches to the town and key internal roads.
Council is currently preparing stage 1 of the Silverdale West Structure Plan. The structure plan aims to investigate the feasibility of the provision of land for business development.
The draft structure plan provides a framework for implementing the community's vision for Puhoi.
