Reporting A Problem On Our Beaches

The Rodney District is fortunate to have magnificent beaches and beach reserves offering a variety of facilities such as playgrounds, boat ramps and barbeques.  We are proud of our beautiful shoreline and want to maintain the quality of the water on our beaches and the services we provide.

Water Quality

Rodney’s beaches are free from pollution and the public can be confident that they are safe for swimming.   Water quality will still be monitored on a site-by-site basis, if needed (such as after major storm events).

Reporting A Problem On A Beach

Maintenance of the beaches in the Rodney District is of paramount importance to us.  Beach inspectors patrol Rodney beaches during the summer to uphold the bylaws relating to beaches, especially with regard to dog control. If you have a problem associated with any part of our shoreline please don’t hesitate to contact us.
