Arts Facilitation is a relatively new function for the Council. It has undertaken to support the cultural well-being of Rodney's communities, by making our environments attractive and something to be proud of.
There are two community arts councils in Rodney District, which were set up to promote and support the arts within their local areas.
Rodney has a thriving and dynamic community art culture. Some of the areas have community art centre’s that offer gallery space, art classes, workshops and events.
