Total Fire Ban - Kawau Island

The Rodney District Council wish to advise that a Total Fire Ban will be in place on Kawau Island from 1st November 2009 to 30th March 2010.

On Guy Fawkes night (Nov 5) RDC will allow bonfires in a rural areas after dark. Bonfires are strictly prohibited within urban areas in Rodney. We ask that people give consideration to their neighbours and animals this Guy Fawkes.
