The Agrecovery Rural Recycling programme will be holding collections for unwanted or expired agrichemicals in the Auckland region on 30 - 31 March 2010.

Proposed Variation 127 - Huapai North Residential Zone - will alter the zoning of land in Huapai North and introduce a new Special 29 Zone that reflects the proposals contained in the adopted Kumeu– Huapai Central Area Plan.

‘Selected Dog Owner’ status is granted to owners whose property and dog care/control practices comply with Council’s good dog owner criteria. Applications must be received by Friday 30 April 2010.

The Council has amended the hours for a ban on alcohol in certain specified public places in Helensville and Parakai. The amended times will come into effect on Wednesday 10 March.

The council has received a resource consent application for a subdivision at 271 Takatu Road, Omaha Flats to create a balance site and one new residential site. Submissions on the application need to be received by 4pm on Friday 9 April 2010.
