There will be changes to recycling and rubbish collection days on Monday 1 February (Anniversary Day). Normal collection days will resume Monday 8 February.

The Council intends to pass a resolution to grant the Hibiscus Sea Rescue Trust a Deed of Lease for a term of 10 years and right of renewal for a further 10 years at its proposed building on Stanmore Bay Reserve.

Rodney District Council proposes to close the Hibiscus Coast Highway to vehicle traffic for the purpose of an Orewa Beach Boulevard Festival Event on Saturday 13 February 2010 from 7am to 7pm.

The Council has extended the consultation period for a review of Chapter 17 Trade Waste Bylaw. Submissions now close 4pm Monday 29 March 2010.
