If the property is connected to a Council water supply, there is a further charge made for water which is charged six-monthly, based on consumption. |

Wastewater - Volumetric Charging
Commencing 1 July 2009 Council will charge properties connected to a Council wastewater system for wastewater based on 80% of the volume of water used (as measured by meter). Accounts for wastewater will be issued six-monthly with water consumption accounts. Where a property is connected to wastewater, but not connected to a Council water supply or uses less than a specified minimum of water, a set fee will apply for wastewater. |

Uniform Annual General Charge (UAGC). This charge incorporates the charge previously referred to as Uniform Civic Amenities Charge. |

The Auckland Regional Amenities and Museums Targeted rate is assessed as required by the Auckland Regional Amenities Funding Act 2008, and also funds the Auckland War Memorial Museum and MOTAT. |

Leisure Centre Charge - formerly included in the Civic Amenities charge - applies to Hibiscus Coast properties only. |

The Farming differential category covers properties 4 hectares or more in size which are used principally for agricultural, horticultural, pastoral, viticultural, aquacultural or forestry purposes. |
