The Council also funds the Rodney Economic Development Trust and is an active member of the Auckland Regional Economic Development Strategy (AREDS).

We are embracing a broadband communication future so that our business community can truly ‘live, work and play’ in Rodney. The process of developing Auckland’s largest Knowledge Economy Zone (KEZ) is well advanced, and exciting developments are occurring, and being encouraged in aquaculture, horticulture, tourism, the arts and film.
