Terms and Conditions

  1. No invoices will be paid by Rodney District Council unless a Rodney District Council Official Order number is quoted.

  2. All deliveries are "Free into store", unless by prior arrangement.

  3. All Rodney District Council Official Orders will be paid on Invoice, subject to the following:

    Supplier Invoice(s) to be received by Rodney District Council no later than 5th day of the month following invoice date, for payment on 20th of that month or next business day.  All Invoices received after that date during the month shall be paid on the 20th of the following month or next business day.

  4. All prices quoted on Official Orders are GST exclusive.

  5. No additional fees or charges in respect of purchase will be paid by Rodney District Council notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any terms and conditions of the supplier, including delivery and packing slips (ie. Booking Fees, Interest, Surcharges, etc.)

  6. In the event of an invoice being disputed by Rodney District Council, Rodney District Council's obligation to pay shall be suspended until such time as the dispute is resolved to the satisfaction of the parties concerned.

  7. Rodney District Council reserves the right to immediately cancel a purchase order in the event of any unresolved problem(s) or unacceptable delays in delivery following discussion between the parties.

  8. Acceptance of this Order to undertake the specified works/services shall be interpreted as acceptance by the Supplier of the Rodney District Council's requirements made in terms of the Health and Safety in Employment Act, 1992.  The Supplier shall comply in full with the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and its revisions.  The Rodney District Council through its authorised officers reserves the right to inspect the work site(s) from time to time to ensure compliance therewith.  Access to such sites shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Supplier.  The Supplier is required to notify the Rodney District Council of any incidents which may affect compliance with Council's Health and Safety requirements.
