Introduction

The Council has prepared a discussion document (October 2004) outlining options for managing the future growth of Orewa. These options are a starting point for discussion with the wider Rodney community.

The three options in the document can be summarized as:

Option 1:        Suburban CBD
Option 2:        Coastal Urban Village CBD
Option 3:        Coastal Urban CBD

The plan below indicates the area the options relate to.

The Council is seeking feedback on the options and the future you see for Orewa.
