| Every Local Authority in New Zealand is obliged to have an
operative Waste Management Plan. Rodney District Council adopted our Waste
Management Plan under the guise of the Zero Waste Plan (ZWP) in July 2002. The
ZWP’s aim is to reduce waste, with zero waste to landfill by 2020. The Rodney District Council proposes to
achieve this vision through a series of coordinated actions carried out in
