CONTRACT NO. 0809: Whangaparaoa Road Pavement Smoothing
2008/09
This contract is for constructing a 600 m length of pavement smoothing work in
the Tindalls Bay area, Hibiscus Coast, Rodney District. The site is located in
the vicinity of Hardley Ave and Roberts Road
These projects typically involve carrying out minor upgrades of drainage,
construction of new pavements by stabilisation of the existing pavement, and
asphalt sealing.
Documents for the work will be released from Wednesday 23 July 2008.

CONTRACT NO. 0804: Waitoki Roading Upgrades 2008/09
This contract is for constructing two separate road upgrade projects in the
Waitoki area, Central Ward, Rodney District. Both are Area Wide Pavement
Treatments to rehabilitate existing sealed pavements, the first, 0.65 km on
Blackbridge Road and second, 0.45km on Baldhill Road.
These projects typically involve carrying out minor earthworks to widen road
formation, minor upgrade of drainage, installation of new dish channel to some
areas, construction of new pavements by stabilisation of the existing pavement,
stabilised granular overlay and chip sealing.

CONTRACT NO. 0803: Pakiri Roading Upgrades 2008/09
This contract is for constructing two separate road upgrade projects in the
Pakiri area, North Ward, Rodney District. The first, a seal extension of
approximately 1.3 km on Pakiri Road (near Rahuikiri Road) and the second, an
area wide pavement treatment of approximately 1.1km of Pakiri Road (Higgins
Hill).
These projects typically involve carrying out minor earthworks to widen road
formation, minor upgrade of drainage with extensions/replacement of existing
road culverts, installation of new kerb and channel, construction of new
pavements by stabilisation of the existing pavement, stabilised granular overlay
and chip sealing.

CONTRACT NO. 0744: Army Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant –
Solids Thickening Upgrade,
Stage 1
This contract is for supply of sludge thickening equipment into an existing
building at Army Bay Sewage Treatment Plant, Whangaparaoa. The contract includes
supply of, and minor professional design services for installation of sludge
thickening equipment tendered.
The tender is relevant to suppliers of proven equipment capable of continuous
unattended operation thickening up to 350 kg dry solids per hour of waste
activated sludge to greater than 5 percent solids content.
